About UsEco-Action, Inc. was started in Central Florida and led by visionary and force of nature, Beth Hollenbeck, 25 years ago and is currently being led by executive director, Jef Shelby. Recently, through application as a foreign entity doing business in the state of Georgia, Eco-Action has extended its activity into Georgia under the direction of its newest board member and Gaia Projects owner, Angela Bennett.

Our History |
Eco-Action has been active in Central Florida since 1993. Since then we have been involved in a number of local hands-on projects, including: gopher tortoise rescues, creating and maintaining a growers market, producing annual Earth Day symposiums, creating and sharing a 10-Step Eco-Wellness program, as well as an informational database, and running canoe-cleanups. Eco-Action has also been involved in helping to politically activate communities around environmental issues.
